It's easy to install a Domotz Pro agent on Microsoft Windows, a NAS, a Raspberry Pi or Debian Linux.
Domotz periodically runs a security assessment of your networks and alerts you if any new potential threat is found. Both internal LAN perimeter scans and external WAN perimeter scans are performed to ensure that your network is compliant with the security best practices. You will be informed if there is any potential threat and you can decide whether to acknowledge that threat.
With Shared Alerts you can define events for which your entire team would like to receive notifications either through emails, webhooks or Slack channel. You can define alert profiles which can be applied either to devices or agents indifferently by any member of your team so that they are shared across the whole team. For example, this functionality can be used if you are planning to feed alerts into a ticketing system, if you want to send email alerts to an email address which is not configured as an account within Domotz Pro or if you simply want to feed the alerts into a Slack channel.
With Device Response Time Monitoring, you get simple, hassle-free ability to periodically ping every single device and collect Round Trip Delay (RTD) and Packet Lost stats from the Domotz Agent to the device itself. The collected data will be available in the form of statistical values. Alerts can be configured to receive notification if certain thresholds of Packet Lost percentage or RTD measures are breached. It is also possible to ping every single device real-time. This feature might not be available on old Domotz Agent packages.
The Domotz Pro Public API (RESTful) provides developers an easy and comprehensive way to integrate third party applications with the Domotz Pro solution. Any user has 100 available API calls per day to retrieve the list of configured Domotz Agents or other useful information related to the Account. Moreover, each Agent configured under the Advanced Plan allows for an additional 500 API calls per day, and can be accessed through the Public API. Each Agent configured under the Premium Plan allows for an additional 5,000 API calls per day, and can be accessed through the Public API.
Through Collaboration you can grant complete access to your network and devices to a trusted person (as long as this person has a Domotz account), even if this person is outside your organization. It is a powerful way of inviting external collaborator or technical experts to help in the analysis and resolution of particular issues. The Advanced and Premium Plan allows to invite 2 different trusted account to collaborate on your Domotz Agent.
Advanced Alerts feature enables additional alerting options on your network devices and status. Be notified when your network performance decays or when one of your devices IP Address changes.
With Security Camera feature, any Camera that is compliant with the ONVIF standard will be integrated in the monitoring system. It allows you to check Camera configuration and operation status, test Video output through Snapshots and Streaming integrated capability, or restart it when it becomes necessary.
With Extended Monitoring, you can monitor up to 20 devices or services anywhere on the web through external IP/Host reference (website, off-site server, etc.), and up to 8 subnets on Layer 3, with a max of /24 network mask (modems, routers, VPN-connected networks, etc.). The Advanced Plan enables up to 5 external IP/Host and 3 additional Layer 3 /24 subnets. The Premium Plan enables up to 20 external IP/Host and 8 additional Layer 3 /24 subnets.
With Wi-Fi Access Point Monitoring, you get simple, hassle-free monitoring of Ruckus Wi-Fi access points and connected clients. Additional manufacturers' products will be added in the future.
Domotz Eyes are an advanced monitoring capability that goes beyond whether a device is connected or not. With Eyes, you can configure Domotz to monitor specific device attributes such as temperature, speed, consumable status, and more. The Advanced Plan enables up to 100 Domotz Eyes and a maximum frequency of 2 samples per hour. The Premium Plan enables up to 1500 Domotz Eyes and a maximum frequency of 30 samples per hour.
Domotz automatically scans open ports for available services and enables remote access with a single click, with no need for a VPN or special router configuration. Connect remotely to virtually any device TCP port by creating a TCP Tunnel through the Domotz Cloud. The Lite Plan allows for 300MB of remote connection data transfer per month. The Advanced Plan enables 1GB of remote connection data transfer per month. The Premium Plan enables 10GB of remote connection data transfer per month for bandwidth-intensive applications.
